Kemp, Robert J.Scottsville: Died unexpectedly in his home on May 19, 2015 in Scottsville, at the age of 82. Robert is survived by his wife, Marjorie; their 5 children, Kathryn (David Vaughn) Kemp of Baltimore, MD., Elizabeth Holler, Brian Kemp of Trumansburg, NY, Jennifer Lawler and Christine Kemp; 2 grandchildren, Hannah (Kyle) Miller, R. Corey Steele and great-grandson, Tanner Miller. Robert was born on June 19, 1932 in Rochester to James and Anna Kemp. He graduated from the University of Rochester in 1955, then served in the US Army from 1955-1957. He married Marge in 1957 and worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Kodak for 30+ years on projects ranging from numerous cameras to the impressive spy in the sky satellite that now can be seen in the Smithsonian Institute. Robert was a highly intelligent and private individual who loved his family above all else and who was passionate about passing his vast knowledge on to this children.He was an active member of the O-AT-KA Lodge 0759 Masons. Friends may call Friday 4-7PM with a Masonic Service to follow calling hours at 7PM at the J.H. Cameron Funeral Home, 26 Rochester St., Scottsville. His Grave-side Service will be held Saturday 1PM at Holy Angels Cemetery, Scottsville. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
