William Walton

–

Le Roy, New York

Bill passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, at home surrounded by the love of his family at his side. He was born on March 29, 1934, in Geneseo, NY to the late Stanley and Jennie (Thompson) Walton, and became a lifelong resident of Pavilion.

He cherished his wife, Suzanne, of 62 years, along with his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the center of his life. He loved hunting and fishing, a passion he was proud to share with his grandsons. Some of his most treasured memories were the many special trips opening the cottage in the spring with his daughter Jennifer and granddaughter Jessica. He especially loved summer trips to the cottage filled with family gathers and chicken barbecues, as well as the quiet fall trips there with his wife and their dogs. Bill had a heart of gold and was known for his generosity, great sense of humor, and gift for storytelling. He brought laughter and warmth wherever he went.

Bill was the proud owner of Wm. Walton Milk Hauling for 51 years. He always said that the best part of hauling milk was his lasting friendships with the farmers, people at the Oatka Milk Plant, and other milk haulers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Patsy (Gordon) Fenwick, Shelly (Patrick) Boyd, and Jennifer Wolcott; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Elise) Lauricella, Jason Lauricella, Carly (Chris) Gaudino, and Jessica Wolcott; and his great-grandchildren, Dominic and Lucas Lauricella, and Hudson Gaudino. He is also survived by his sisters, Agnes Park, Joan (Gary) Kobus, and Joyce Jacobus; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, David, Paul, and Jim Walton.

In accordance with his wishes there will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Pavilion Fire Department, 11302 Lake Street, Pavilion, NY 14525, or to the Pavilion Community Food Pantry, 11115 East Park Street, Pavilion, NY 14525.
