Ronald J. Thater

LeRoy ~ Ronald J. Thater, age 57, of Genesee Street, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009. Mr. Thater was born February 14, 1952 in Batavia, N.Y. to the late Norman and Winifred Mayne Thater. He is survived by a daughter, Tina Thater, his sisters; Hilda (James) Phillips of Pavilion, Joyce (Carl) Hume of LeRoy and Judy (Richard) Loveland of LeRoy, his brothers; Norm (Barb) Thater of LeRoy and Douglas (Meg) Thater of LeRoy, a brother in law, Paul Milroy of Pavilion, his best friend, David Bushman, along with several other close friends and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters; Ann Thater and Helen Milroy and a brother, Paul Thater. Memorial services for Ron will be held on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2 P.M. at the Pavilion First Baptist Church, 10956 S. Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), Pavilion. Interment will be private in Stafford Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
