Robert M. Baker LE ROY -- Robert M. Baker, 91, of Le Roy passed away Monday (Feb. 27, 2012) at United Memorial Medical Center. He was born Feb. 27, 1921, a son of the late Grace and Albert Baker. He was predeceased by sisters, Mary and Kathleen. Mr. Baker was a graduate of Syracuse University and was editor of the Le Roy Gazette for many years. He was an avid horse shoe player, loved music and writing. He enjoyed family and friends. He is survived by nieces, Mary (Bob) Newland of Pembroke, Diane (Tom) Barrows of Rochester and Linda (Dave) Perkins of Rochester; nephew, Mike (Cindy) Costa of Retsof; many great nieces, nephews, and caregiver, Grace Stewart and beloved nurses and friends at Batavia VA. There are no calling hours or services. Interment will be held at a later date per family.
