Michael Damon Guinness

Michael Damon Guinness Passed away peacefully on July 30, 2013. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on March 20, 1943. Predeceased by parents Diana Boone Guinness Miner and Anthony Wentworth Guinness and stepfather, Ranlet Miner. Survived by his loving wife Irena Guinness; daughter, Shaunagh Guinness; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Cassandra Guinness; granddaughters, Alex and Shelby Guinness; sisters, Shaunagh Robbins and Bronwyn Bryans; brother-in-law, Kenneth Robbins; stepbrother and his wife, Ranlet Miner, II and Beth Miner; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Mike served as Vice President and co-owner of Brighton Securities where he was employed for over thirty years. He was an avid golfer, loved his dog, Lulu, his boat the Di-Anna, summers in North Haven, Maine and always enjoyed a good party. He served on the Board of the Scottsville Free Library and the Wheatland Baptist Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 2, at 11 AM, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 25 Westminster Road, Rochester. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mike's name to Scottsville Free Library, 24 Main Street, Scottsville, NY 14546 or the Wilmot Cancer Center, 300 East River Road, Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627.
