Mary Alice Laney-Thompson

Oakfield/Panama City Beach, FL: Mary Alice Laney-Thompson 1/24/2011 Mary Alice Laney-Thompson, formerly of Oakfield, passed away at her home on the morning of Monday January 24, 2011. Mary was born on June, 20, 1962 in Batavia, New York to Eugene Laney of Oakfield, and the late Kathleen (LaBelle) Laney. Mary enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with her friends and family. She had a generous heart and took care of the neighborhood stray animals. She will be missed by her dogs Honey and CocoBear. She is survived by her father Eugene Laney of Oakfield, sisters; Robin (Robert) Ettinger, Martina Eldred, Linda (Robert) Johnson, Christine (Angelo) Jekov, and long time companion Greg Sheley, cousin Julie Elliott, best friend Cheryl Lowe and several nieces and nephews. Respects may be paid to the family on 2/6 from 1-3pm at the home of Eugene Laney. Services will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
