M. Anne Spencer Obituary (1962

LeRoy ~ M. Anne Spencer, age 50, of Lincoln Avenue, died at home early Thursday morning (March 8, 2012) with her loving family by her side. Anne was born March 7, 1962 in Batavia, N.Y., a daughter of the late Gerald Pratt and Mary Ellen Maddock Pratt. She received her Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy and worked as a paramedic for 17 years before becoming disabled. She was also a dedicated member of the LeRoy Fire Department for 14 years. Anne will be remembered as a very loving and wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to her family, including her husband, John Spencer; her children, John Spencer III of Buffalo, Barbara (John) Sigwalt of LeRoy, Jason Spencer of LeRoy and Perry Spencer of LeRoy; her grandchildren, Suki, Cedric, Gia, Aubrey, Dedrick, Rose and Charlie; her mother, Mary Ellen Pratt, sisters, Paula Pratt of LeRoy and Cathy Pratt of TN. In addition to her dad, Anne was predeceased by a son, William. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2 ~ 6 PM at the Cameron, Brady and Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt 19 south), where services will be held at 6:00 PM. The courtesy of no flowers is requested. Memorials in memory of Anne may be offered to her family or to the LeRoy Fire Department.
