Scottsville: 10/22/1931 - 1/14/2015 Ever vivacious and so much fun, Joyce led a life filled with adventure and laughter. Through good times and hard times, she always kept her sense of humor and her zest for life. A life-long resident of Scottsville, Joyce is predeceased by her parents David and Alice Elzenga, husband John Burns, daughter Jean Burns, companion Jack Miller, brother Henry Elzenga.

Survived by son David and daughter-in-law Jennifer; daughter Dorothy and son-in-law Bill Hall; son Frank Burns and his companion Patti Heagle; grandchildren AJ and Austin, Frank Burns, Lisa Sheible (John), Stacie Muldoon, Jennifer Linton; great grandchildren Will, Sam, Ben Sheible, Camden and Wrigley Muldoon; nieces and nephews, dear friends and the residents and staff at the Legacy at Parklands.

Funeral service Sunday, January 18, 1 pm, First United Presbyterian Church of Mumford, 893 George Street, Mumford, NY.
