Scottsville-On April 16th we lost our “Joanie”, the most wonderful mom, grandma, great grandma, sister aunt, and friend you could ever ask for. She lived an exemplary life, where her kindness and generosity drew family, friends and neighbors like bees to honey.

Always invested in our lives, in person or on the phone, her warmth and her smile, along with her sense of humor will be greatly missed. She passed away nine days shy of 90 years young.

Joanie is predeceased by her husband, Philip; siblings Lorraine (Kasey) Kaseman, Edward (Lois) Earl, Eunice Pusateri, and Andy (Jeanne) Earl. She is survived by her daughters Cindy (Jimmy) Roberston, Donna (Greg) Dixon and Susie (Jeff) McMullen, along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who she loved dearly.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 99 Main Street Scottsville, on Tuesday, April 21st, at 10:00 am, followed by burial at Holy Angels Cemetery. A memorial luncheon will be held after the mass and burial at Hartman Hall at St. Mary’s Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 601 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to Paralyzed Veteran’s of America, PO Box 758589, Topeka, KS 66675.
