Gary Steinmetz

LeRoy: Steinmetz, Gary E. 1/1/2014 Gary Steinmetz of LeRoy, passed away peacefully at the Latta Road Nursing home on January 1, 2014 at the age of 74. Gary was born on November 11, 1939 in Batavia, New York to the late Donald & Elizabeth (Wheelock) Steinmetz. He was the third generation Funeral Director and previous owner of H. Steuber & Son Funeral Home in LeRoy. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of LeRoy, Oatka Hose, LeRoy Moose Lodge #1132, and National Cutting Horse Assoc. and member of the Rochester Genesee Valley Funeral Directors Association. He is survived by his loving wife Jean Steinmetz, children; Mark (Dana Gamache) Steinmetz, Ann (David Fuccillo) Steinmetz, John (Ann) Steinmetz, two grandchildren; Emma & Eleanor Steinmetz, sister; Bonnie (Konrad) Kerr, and several nieces and nephews. Family & friends may call at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt. 19 South) LeRoy, on Saturday from 2-4, & 7-9PM, where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2PM.
