Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Carson Obituary (1939

Pavilion: Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Carson 7/26/2011 Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Carson nee Criger died suddenly on Tuesday July 26th, 2011. Born in Batavia, NY on May 11, 1939 to Robert and Hazel Criger nee Callan, Betty grew up in LeRoy, NY and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1957. Later, Betty would work at Target Products for 15 years and Heritage Manor for 16 years, both located in LeRoy, NY. On July 25th, 1959 Betty married Rodney Carson and settled in Pavilion, NY. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family and was devoted to her grandchildren. She maintained her high school friendships and looked forward to monthly luncheons with a close-knit group of friends. Betty was well known for her lively stories and loved to make people laugh. She was predeceased by her husband, Rodney S. Carson, in 1999. She is survived by three sons; Roger (Linda) Carson, Rodney (Katie) Carson, Jr., Andrew (Tiffani) Carson and three daughters; Rhonda (Carl) Kinney, Deborah (Al) Ross, and Patricia (Craig) Bower. She is also survived by three sisters; Helen (Ken) Brown of Castile, NY, Nancy Aspinall of LeRoy, NY, and Mary Ellen (Steve) Davis of Warsaw, NY. In addition to her 10 grandchildren and great grandchild Betty is also survived by a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws as well as her companion, Doug Davis, and his family. A celebration of life will be held Saturday July 30th,, 2011 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Botts-Fiorito American Legion, 53 West Main Street in LeRoy, NY.
