Donald W. Torrey

Stafford: Donald W. Torrey, 74, passed away peacefully Thursday (May 10, 2012). Donald was born in Batavia on December 30, 1937, to the late Elbert and Marjorie Waterman Torrey. He is survived by his children, Brian Torrey and Jeff (Betsy) Torrey Sr.; four grandchildren, Brittney, Jeff Jr., Anna and Jaclyn; one great-grandchild, Isabella. Also survived are three brothers, David, George, and Doug (Peggy), two sisters Maxine (Bill) Lisi and Marcia (Alan) Kibbe; several nieces and nephews. Donald is pre-deceased by his wife, Elizabeth Vickers Torrey; three brothers Charles, Gerald and Reginald; sister-in-law, Amy Torrey; nephew Bryan Torrey. Donald graduated from Elba and lived in Stafford most of his life. He worked at Lapp Insulator as a machinist. He loved sports. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchild. Family & friends may call on Saturday from 11AM to 12 Noon at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt. 19 South) LeRoy, followed by a graveside service at Stafford Rural Cemetery.
