LeRoy: Adelaide L. Murphy 1/8/2011 Adelaide Murphy of West Bergen Road, LeRoy, passed away on the morning of Saturday January 8, 2011 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. Adelaide was born on July 9, 1929 in Syracuse, New York to the late Walter & Adelaide (McPhee) Anson. Adelaide was the Office Manager for the Fathers of our Lady of Mercy for seventeen years. She also was a long time member of Our Lady of Mercy Parish and was a religious education teacher at Holy Family School and a member of the Altar and Rosary society. Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years James, children; Michael (Rhonda) Murphy of Batavia, James (Cheri) Murphy of AZ, Thomas Murphy of LeRoy, Mary Ann Wortman of LeRoy, Patricia Murphy of LeRoy, Dan (Liz)Murphy of Caledonia, brother; Jack (Gloria) Anson of Syracuse, daughters-in-law; Lisa Murphy, Barbara Murphy, 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Harold, sisters Elizabeth and Elsie, son-in-law Robert Wortman, and great-grandchild Aiden. Family & friends may call at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt. 19 South) LeRoy, on Tuesday from 4-7PM. Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10AM, at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, (St. Peter's Building). Interment will take place at St. Francis Cemetery in the Spring.
