SCOTTSVILLE - a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2021 at the age of 86. Born to the late S. Edward and Clara Ellingsworth in Newlin, PA. Predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Judith. Dale is survived by his sister June Ellingsworth, and sons, Edward D. (Doris), and Steven Dale (Laura) He is also survived by grandchildren Jennifer, Jason, Kevin, Derek, Alicia, and Stefani Erin, 9 Great-Grandchildren; brother-in-law Norman T. (Jean) Moulder; nephews Erich, Todd; nieces Denise and Erin. Dale served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired after 20 years of dedicated service. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War where he earned a Purple Heart for wounds received in battle.
Services and interment will be held
