Obituary for Norma Mildred Noyes
Scottsville- Norma Mildred Noyes passed peacefully on January 25, 2021, at the age of 88. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years Richard and four children, Richard Jr. (Rosalina) Noyes, Christopher (Kathy) Noyes, Tracie (Ken) VanAlstine, and Kelly (Alan) Noyes-Colvin, along with several grandchildren & great grandchildren. Norma is predeceased by her parents Charles & Mildred Nesbitt and five siblings, Richard Nesbitt, Shirlee (Earle) Peacox, Dorothy (Gerry) Ideman, Audrey (Jack) Russell, Jaqueline (Jack) O’Steen.
Our beloved wife & mother will be dearly remembered for her deep, unwavering love for her husband and family, her unflappable demeanor, her incredible strength and generous spirit. She lived her life with purpose and intention; she was a fighter, a loving straight-shooter and our biggest supporter. She was the rock and heart of our family; she was our guiding light. She loved chocolate, potato chips, the sunshine, flowers, plants, steak & lobster and coffee! She made the very best chicken & biscuits and hands-down, was the best stain remover in the world! She taught us all a lot about love, life and family. We will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Norma’s life will be held on 11:30 AM Saturday, May 29, 2021 at The lodge at Oatka Creek Park 9797 Union Street, Scottsville, NY 14546
Please dress casually and wear footwear conducive to a park setting.
Light refreshments will be served. Please consider donating to Lollypop Farm or St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Norma’s memory.
