John M. Gaylord 1/18/36 - 9/23/20 passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Predeceased by his parents and his brother. Survived by his loving wife Linda of 63 years, children Karen Clyde-Pipkins (Art), Nancy Stein (Lou), grandchildren Jessica, Chelsea, Samantha Orlando (Jason), Michael and great-grandson Jacob, and brother John Masberg.
John, a Korean war veteran was born in Portland Oregon. After the army he moved to New York and joined the Research and Engineering Department at Eastman Kodak; where he worked for 30 years before his retirement.
John loved his family, fishing, music, military history, and his time as a volunteer forest ranger in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
In lieu of flowers or donations, please consider lending a hand to someone in need. A private celebration of John's life will be held at a later date.
