My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family. Steve grew up just a little over a mile from our family. Our family's lives were intertwined between 4-H, school, and friendship. We had 15 ponies when we were kids and the "Shum" boys came down often to help us break them, ride them, and spend long, lazy summer days playing hide and seek on them. We swam in the creek and raced them like crazy. John was the "bossy" one, Steve was the "quiet" one, Larry was the "mean" one, at least to me, we're the same age😊, and of course Keith was the "baby". Cindy and Marie hung out with our little sisters, but the boys were always with us, usually doing something involving the horses. Our family's shared so many wonderful meals and evenings together. He was a great kid, kind and fun to be with. My deepest condolences...🙏🏻
