Passed away on March 19, 2014 at age 82. The son of Anthony and Bernice Caccamise, James was born July 23, 1931 in LeRoy, NY. He was the owner of Genesee Bus Co. in Batavia, a Korean War Veteran, and member of both San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, FL and Our Lady of Mercy in LeRoy, NY. His parents, Anthony and Bernice Caccamise, brothers, Donald and Charles Caccamise; sisters, Pauline Glenn and Victoria (Vicki) Totten predecease James. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Mina Caccamise; daughter, Christine (George) Shriver; son, Philip (Betty) Bolsei; son, John (Katherine) Bolsei; daughter, Barbara (Patrick) Bassett; daughter, Rebecca (Christopher) Dowling; daughter, Jeannie (Eric) Shupe; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Brooks; sister-in-law, Phyllis Caccamise; brother-in-law, Richard Totten; several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish (St. Joseph’s Oratory), 27 Lake Street, LeRoy, NY 14482. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Our Lady of Mercy Parish, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy, NY 14482 or Alzheimer's Association Rochester and Finger Lakes Region, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
