Pavilion: George J. Vagg 6/25/2012 Age 79 Years
George Vagg of Pavilion passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday June 25, 2012 at the Crossroads House in Batavia after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Vagg was born on August 1, 1932 in Pavilion, New York to the late Glen & Nettie (Wallace) Vagg. He worked as a Truck Driver since 1975 and truly loved every moment of his career. He was a loving and generous man, who brought joy to everyone he met. George was also an avid sports fan.
He is predeceased by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years Sheila (2007), daughter Karen (2003), and grandson Lee Michael (1987). He is survived by his children; Donald (Linda) Vagg, Robert (Jackie) Vagg, Douglas (Karen) Vagg, Laurie (Michael) Hackett, 16 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to all the Registered Nurses, LPNs, and aides of the Crossroads House, United Memorial Medical Center, Dr. Mary Obear, Dr. Raja Kolisetti, and the LeRoy Village Green.
There will be NO prior calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
