Unexpectedly on July 15, 2018 at age 41. Predeceased by his father, Alvin Thurley. He is survived by his children, Thomas, William and Scott Thurley; mother, Elizabeth Thurley, grandmother, Alberta Hargrave, ex-wife, Tara Thurley, brother, Jason Thurley, step brother, James Thurley, step sisters, Susanna Scutt and Patricia Thurley, several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Michael was a member of the Bethany Fire Department. Services will be held privately.
