On August 2, 2017 at age 78. Predeceased by her husband, Earl John Kovacs and sister Sadie and brothers, Thomas and John Odom. She is survived by her son, Justin (Sara) Kovacs; grandson, Jackson; sister, Jean Brazell; brothers, Robert (Kathy), Richard, Walter, Wilbur and Ernie Odom.

Evelyn was a home health aide for many years. She and her husband owned several businesses including an auto service gas station in LeRoy.

Evelyn asked that there be no services.
