Scottsville-Henrietta: July 25, 2017 at age 86. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Popnik, Barbara Cordon (Daniel Looney), Theresa (David) Strassner; cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Kimberly, Luke, Mark, Samuel; brother-in-law, Joseph (Marlene) Popnik; sister-in-law, Ruth Cross; and many nieces and nephews as well as her good friends in Scottsville. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Albert Popnik; brother, Donald Cross.

Imogene was an elementary school teacher at St. Helen’s for 15 years. In retirement she and Albert served for 2 years in the Peace Corps in Vanuatu, South Pacific. They also taught in Indonesia for 2 years and Imogene enjoyed volunteering to teach English with Literacy Volunteers.

Family and friends are invited to call Monday 4-7 PM at the J. H. Cameron Funeral Home, 26 Rochester St., Scottsville. Her Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church, Scottsville. Private interment, Holy Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ROHHAD Fight, Inc., 3 Surrey Lane, Hempstead, NY 11550 or rohhadfight.org, to assist her great-niece Marisa.
