Obituary for Beatrice Pursel

Beatrice Pursel (Mack)

LeRoy: Age 75. Passed away peacefully at Crossroads House on Sunday, February 1, 2015 with her family and Pastor beside her. The daughter of Calvin and Beulah McLaughlin Pursel, Bea was born January 25, 1940 in Oakield, NY. She retired from Dolomite, and enjoyed helping others, her extended family at Living Waters Church, trips to PA and spending her golden years enjoying her children and grandchildren. Bea was the undisputed queen of molasses and peanut butter cookies. She frequently made them for family, friends and her four legged buddies as well. She is survived by her four children; Doreen Palmer of Livonia, Lori (Matt) Graffrath of Rochester, Mark of Caledonia and Monica (Ken) Hollar of Varysburg; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Clifford (Lynda) Pursel of Caledonia; sisters, Gladys Hargrave of Cameron Mills, Alberta Hargrave of Pavilion, Kathleen Maloy of LeRoy. Her parents; lifelong love, Roy Wells; brothers; George and Calvin and sister, Margueritte predecease Bea.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours, Thursday 11 AM- 3PM with her service to follow at 3 PM at the Cameron Brady and Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott Street, LeRoy . All are invited to a celebration of Bea’s Life at the Masonic Lodge, Bank Street, LeRoy following the service. Memorials may be made to Crossroads House, P.O.
