Scottsville: May 6, 2014 at age 85. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Shirley (Sellers) Lucas; daughters, Shirley L. (Charles) Fowler, Nancy (Gregory) Miller, Carolyn Lucas, Francine (Michael) Velazquez; son, Frank (Angela) Lucas Jr.; sisters, June Whitfield, Hazel Truitt, Lucy Gay, Mary Alice Ellis, Alta Cole; brother, Donald (Dolores) Lucas; grandchildren, Johnny, Franklin, Brittney, Erik, Camille, Shaun; great-grandchildren, Sincere, Dasia, Malachi, Elijah; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Marybell Lucas; brothers, Robert, Gene, Danny Lucas. Frank was a retiree of Gleason Works.
Family and friends are invited to call Friday 4-7 PM at the J.H. Cameron Funeral Home, 26 Rochester St., Scottsville. Saturday at 4 PM his Funeral Service will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 9 Browns Ave., Scottsville. Interment, Oatka Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scottsville Vol. Ambulance.
