LE ROY — James F. Lapp died Wednesday (Jan. 1, 2014) at age 68.

He is survived by his children Amy (Julian) Hardison, Betsy (Jason) Blackwell, Cathleen (Jeffrey) Toothman, Emily Lapp, Stephen Lapp; mother, Catherine Lapp; grandchildren Jillian, Zoe, Alexis, Colten, Lucy, Quinn, Charlotte; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father Clarence “Gooey” Lapp, sister Carole Wujcik; brothers Richard, Joseph Lapp; nephew Jason Wujcik.

Jim was a loving son, father, and grandfather. Although he had a long career in banking, his most proud accomplishments were his children and, more recently, his grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Cameron, Brady Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Route 19 South), Le Roy. His Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mercy (St. Peter’s Church), Le Roy. Spring interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Le Roy.
