Merita Logsdon of Pavilion, passed away on the evening of Wednesday July 10, 2013 at the United Memorial
Medical Center in Batavia.
Merita was born on February 17, 1920 in Batavia, New York to the late George & Clara (Romasser) Kelly. During her career, she worked at Box Factory, Massey Harris, Lapp Insulator, Steel Chest, Dubois Plastics, Robeson Cutlery, and General Electric. She ran a day care for 3 years, and had many handicapped children in her care for 53 years in her home. She was a
longtime member of Immaculate Mary Parish in Pavilion.
She is predeceased by her husband Eugene Logsdon, son Robert Logsdon, and daughter Beverly Ryan. She is survived by her loving foster daughter Barbara Greenbaum, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Family & friends may call at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt. 19 South) LeRoy on Sunday from 2-4PM. Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10AM, at Immaculate Mary Parish in Pavilion, with interment to immediately follow in Pavilion Cemetery.
