Obituary for Raymond W. Roth

LeRoy: Raymond W. Roth 9/28/2012
Raymond Roth of LeRoy, passed away on the evening of Friday September 28, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Raymond was born on June 7, 1930 in Batavia, New York to the late Harold & Thirza (Austin) Roth. After serving with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, he worked at Jello and then as an electrician at Kodak in Rochester. He was a longtime active member of St. Peter’s Church in LeRoy, 3rd Order at Mercy Grove, and the Knights of Columbus. He was active in Boy Scouts and was a volunteer for Camp Good Days.
He is survived by his loving wife Marion (Cripps) Roth, children; Catherine (David) Johnson, Raymond (Yvette) Roth Jr., Susan (Steven) Morris, Thomas (Laurie) Roth, Nancy (Ed) Pabros, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son David John Roth and siblings; Betty Stirk, Art Roth, Midge Hagen, and Jim Roth.
Family & friends may call at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt. 19 South) LeRoy on Tuesday from 2-4, & 7-9PM. Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish (St. Peter’s Building). Interment will immediately follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
