Alexander: Dennis J. Alwardt 8/27/2012
Dennis Alwardt Sr., of West Bethany Road, Alexander, passed away on the evening of Monday August 27, 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Mr. Alwardt was born on June 30, 1963 in Batavia, New York to the late Keith & Dianna (Wood) Alwardt. He worked as a Sergeant Security Guard at Sabin Metal Corp. in Scottsville, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Attica, was an active member of the Bethany Volunteer Fire Dept and a member of the WNY Gas and Steam Engine Association. He loved doing many things to include hunting and fishing but most importantly spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Terri (Kryman), children; Kristopher (Jennifer) Clark, Dennis (Chelsea) Alwardt Jr, Zachary (Samantha) Alwardt, Keith (Molly) Alwardt, Justin Clark, Kimberly (Jeff) Pietrzykowski, grandchildren; Kasey, Landen, Kyle, Jacie, Hunter, brother; Allen (Claryce) Alwardt, sister; Darlene (Wayne) Burroughs, and many nieces and nephews.
Family & friends may call at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt. 19 South) LeRoy on Thursday from 4-7PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10AM at the First Baptist Church of Attica, 3 Prospect Street, Attica, NY. Interment will immediately follow at the West Bethany Cemetery.
