Mary Alice Rogers of Warner Park in LeRoy, passed away surrounded by her family on the morning of Tuesday May 22, 2012 at the LeRoy Village Green.
Mary Alice was born in Batavia on January 23, 1931 to the late Richard & Myrtle (Heissunbuttle) Whalen.
She was an avid euchre and bridge player, a member of the Red Hats Club and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children; Greg (Jody) Rogers, Stephen (Christine) Rogers, grandchildren; Angela (Rich), Stacie (Jon), Jacqueline, Michael, Katie, great-grandchildren; Jackson, Jayden, Cameron, Kylie, sisters; Loretta (Gordon) Davis, Jacqueline Lapp, brother; Michael (Sandy) Whalen, brother-in-law; Roger (Angeline) Rogers, sister-in-law; June Kanaley, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Edward Rogers (1990), and sister Patricia Davis.
Family & friends may call at the Cameron Brady & Steuber Funeral Home, 111 Wolcott St. (Rt. 19 South) LeRoy, on Thursday from 4-8PM. Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10AM, at Our Lady of Mercy Parish (St. Peter’s Building). Interment will immediately follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
